"My artistic career began in Portugal, when I transitioned from university theatre to professional theatre. It was a formative period rich in exchanges and collaborations with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. After moving to Luxembourg, motherhood interrupted my artistic path and reignited my passion for textiles. Working with my hands has since become essential, allowing me to blend past and new experiences.
Through textile, I explore emotions that, like in theatre, evoke tensions and construct narratives. I discover the essence of gesture: my hands feel, think, and act. Textile become a record of memory.

My works are created using traditional textile techniques such as weaving, tapestry, embroidery and crochet, (re)using textile matter as well as found or discarded materials, as a way of reflecting on memory, gesture, and the passage of time. Guided by the word, as well as by a tactile and intuitive process, my practice explores questions of place, identity, and journeying, both personal and collective."
