This work reflects the structure of the human skin and the metaphor it represents in reflecting on the forms of sociability stimulated by contemporary society.

Neuronal activity is intrinsically linked to the skin. The skin's primary function is to protect the different layers of the subcutaneous tissue that make us up. The skin also regulates temperature and its nervous functions are essential to the sense of touch. Touch involves listening to others and to oneself: touch is also self-referential: while it is accessible from the outside, it is also felt from the inside. As José Gil points out, the sensation of touch actually takes place beneath the skin: this is not
reduced to a superficial film but extends indefinitely inside the body. The skin thus becomes a metaphor for a paradoxical space between inside and outside: it is landscape, it is horizon. The skin is a passage.
