Composed of threads representing connections and relationships, the piece serves as a starting point to weave stories. Cotton and wool - natural materials - bring an organic and tactile dimension. Incorporating remnants (from another artist's work, Carine Mertes) adds a layer of memory, evoking the cycle of creation, transformation, and reuse of materials.
The roots anchor the piece, contrasting with the idea of suspension and elevation.
Presented one time in an old farm, this is an evolving work that will grow through its experiences and history.
