Kokemusu

Old wooden sieve, wool, cotton, jute

The sieve and the moss create a poetic interplay between filtering and covering, suggesting what is kept, erased, or transformed. Often seen as undesirable, moss nevertheless embodies life and biodiversity. The title Kokemusu – a Japanese expression meaning “to become covered with moss” – evokes slowness, resilience, and the ability to adapt.
